I’ve been on the road for 60 days now! I can’t believe it. From New England to Canada, from Canada to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, from “The U.P. to Fargo, Minneapolis, The Badlands, Billings and now Yellowstone, it’s been an awesome two months!
The entire two months have felt like nothing short of a delightful gift from the universe even the few little bumps I’ve experienced along the way! I also think I’ve been pretty true to the “spirit” of the journey. I’ve just kind of made it up as I’ve gone along and it’s been fantastic.
Anyway enough of that. Here’s what you need to know about Yellowstone:
It’s beautiful and majestic beyond anything you might have imagined.
Every single person should see this place at least once in their life.
Yellowstone is our nation’s first national park established by an act of congress in 1872
There are A LOT of really cool animals!
I entered the park on July 1, 2011 at 7:15AM and exited at 8:30 PM. 13+ hours and I just scratched the surface of one of the most beautiful places on earth. The scenery literally takes your breath away and the animals are glorious! See for yourself.
Wish I was there! I’m so glad you’re really enjoying your journey. It shows – “you look mahvelous dahling”
Thanks Laura its so much fun! I hope you’re taking good care of Franco while I’m away 🙂
Really beautiful pictures Marc. Thank you!
Beautiful photos! Are you still using the Lumix or did you trade up?
gorgeous! what’s next?
So is the hotel bear incident only for your Facebook friends…don’t be a Facebook snob, please share.
I too, just purchased my first ever bear repellent, you do know that there have been bear in these parts recently?
Nirvanic….once again. Can you roam for a living?
I would love to see the look on your face if you came outside and found a bear sitting in your driveway! I never told you the hotel bear spray story? it was years ago, lets just say the lesson I learned was “Don’t test your bear spray inside your hotel room. Yikes or should I say ouch!
I know it empties in 7 seconds…but by the time I activated the darn thing i’d be breakfast, lunch or dinner!
