Here I am still up in Fairbanks and surviving after almost 5 months! What a weird, wacky, wonderful adventure its been. I’ve endured -50 degree temperatures, ice rain, ice fog, darkness, several minor earthquakes and a moose encounter on the trails.
There really is no place like Fairbanks! This remote outpost will always be one of the highlights of the last two years of travel and hopefully a permanent part of my future in one way or another. There are a A LOT of photos in this post, but they will give you a pretty good snapshot of the past 6 weeks. It’s really hard to describe the quirkiness up here or the wonderful people I’ve been fortunate enough to meet, but here goes.
